Manhattan Declaration

http://www.manhattandeclaration.org/home.aspx Hi folks, Trevor shared this link with me a few weeks ago and I thought I'd pass it along.  It's a declaration written by  prominent Christian clergy, ministry leaders, and scholars in defense of the sanctity of life, traditional marriage, and religious liberty.  It's kind of like the family proclamation, except it's longer, and it's not a revelation...  But it has similar ideas to the FP as well as Elder Oaks' devotional address at BYU-I this past year about religious freedom and Elder Nelson's address to young adults in Massachusetts last month about the connection between church and state .  Read through it and see what you think.  Could be a good conversation topic with your friends who belong do different churches. PS- Elder Wickman addressed the J. Reuben Clark Law School Society back in February about religion in the public square as well.  Just came across it.
