Another letter to Kimmy, my favorite missionary

Dear Kimmy, Hello!  I love reading your emails every week.  It sounds like you are learning and growing so much.  I feel like I am too!  I need to be better about writing about the things that I'm learning though.  I can start today.   First of all, I feel so grateful.  I've always tried to be grateful for all that Heavenly Father has given me, but lately I often feel my heart is overflowing for all the things I've been given which I'm grateful for.  Example: on Tuesday I was walking to my nutrition class and I could feel the baby inside of me.  I was actually a little bit uncomfortable but only mildly uncomfortable and more like a gentle reminder that I am indeed carrying another person inside of me.  I thought, "it's me and you little one."  And then the tear ducks started to well up like they are now.  I'm so excited to meet this little girl.  I'm excited to have a brand new extra person that will perma...

"How do you solve a problem like... Meleah"

Meleah is a great girl.  For those who don't know her, she is a curly-haired, 3.5 foot tall bundle of energy.   She loves to be active, outside and in, and she always has an idea for something to play.  She's also one of the most articulate kids I've ever known and is already well-practiced in her negotiation skills.  If I had a nickle for everytime I've heard her say, "I'll tell you what," or "I'll make you you a deal," or "Let's make a deal," or "I have another idea" (the last one she says after I suggest something) then I would probably have... a few of dollars.  But since I'm not around her every day and I've only known her for a year and a half that's still pretty significant odds of hearing her say one of these things on any given day. Meleah sometimes teaches me significant lessons.  One time at Sunday dinner she told me a story about her toe.  She was playing and accidentally stepped on something...

Matt took some pictures of me a few days ago and posted them on his blog.  I'm not sure if you all have his blog url though, so here it is:  http://biggywiggy.blogspot.com/ We hope you enjoy the pictures! Love, Christy
