We also have been doing some yard work. One of the first things we did when we got home from San Diego was cut the grass. This is what we found. I don't know if you can see it or not, but the entire lawn was covered in glistening thin little webs. It was kinda cool but also kinda not. It means there are little things crawling everywhere.

We have been trying to get the weeds out and trim all of the beautiful plants and ground cover that Marva, the previous owner, took meticulous care of. Once we've got it cleaned up a little more we want to invite her back over (she's in her 80's) so that she can tell us what everything is and how we should take care of it.

Oh, we also planted tomato plants. I'm excited for those to start producing.
