Dinner today: taquitos

Matt happened upon this cool cooking blog yesterday and forwarded me a recipe for homemade graham crackers that he wants to try.  I perused some of the other recipes on the blog and am excited to try several of them; I made the taquitos tonight and really liked them.  Here they are: smells-like-home.com

    Another post? Wow! You're on a roll. I've always wanted to try Taquitos. They have a recipe on Ourbestbites.com, too. One of these days I'll get to it. It was pretty good, huh? We're having barabcoa beef tacos tonight for dinner. The smell in the kitchen is driving me nuts. I'm dying to eat it! Maybe I'll use the leftovers for beef taquitos :)

    Funny you mention ourbestbites. This recipe is adapted from theirs. Let me know how the barabcoa beef tacos turn out! Is that a recipe from ourbestbites also?

Capitol Reef

We went to Capitol Reef National Park a few weeks ago and did some hiking while we were there.  It was a short but pleasant trip.  I'd love to go back sometime when the orchards are ready to harvest and take some fruit home with us.  It'd be nice to do some more hiking there too. Can you tell where we went to school?  It seems like we end up with an inordinate amount of BYU clothing in our bags whenever we go on vacation. She kept reaching for my sun glasses and so I finally handed them to her.  She was very pleased. Playing in the hotel room.  Matt really wanted to do a hike in some narrows and so we did this one.  It was really wide here, at the beginning.  We went a mile or so in and the canyon walls were only about 15 or 20 feet apart from each other.
